Blog 15: Nonobvious New Berkeley Startup

Hey Everyone! For this video blog I am going to be discussing a new Berkeley Startup that I recently heard about. I think the idea is super cool, so I just wanted to share!

The company is called “TINE Tag” and you can find more information about it at http://www.tinetag.com and download the app!

TINE tags are basically little stickers where you can simply add a video, voice message, or picture. There are literally hundreds of ways you can use the sticker!
For example, you could put it on your resume. So when a recruiter reads your resume you are no longer words on a page. Now they can see a real video of you talking about yourself and your experiences. You could also put the TINE tag on your credit card or student ID that has a video or message saying if you find this card please return it to my address or call my phone number. TINE can also be used in lots of fun ways as well. For example, you could put it on a birthday card or present that you are sending to your friend in a different state. Now when they open it, they will find a video of you! I think this idea is really cool and creative!! They are giving TINE tags out for FREE right now if you download the app!

Also, I think this idea is completely nonobvious and new! I have never seen anything like this before. I do not think they have patented the idea. But if they do I wonder if it will get passed.
