Here is another video clip on Obviousness. This one is of a Patent Attorney explaining what it means to be novel and nonobvious.
Novel means that there is nothing exactly like it in the prior art. Nonobvious means that your invention nonobivous to a person of ordinary skill in the field of your invention. Enough of a difference that someone in the field would not be able to say they could easily do it! The example he gives is making clothes hangers smaller for kids clothes. This is too obvious because it is literally making the hangers smaller! People in the field could easily make it in different sizes if they wanted to.
All in all, his video was very clear and he gave some good examples! Check it out!
